Banijay Iberia announced the launch of Banijay Iberia Sports. Led by Gonzalo Miró, the new division aims to expand the company’s presence into the world of sports, including sportainment, documentaries, and digital, following Banijay Entertainment’s broader push into this field with Banijay Sports.
Screentime New Zealand unveiled its new studio facility Remarkable Studios NZ. Led by CEO Philly de Lacey, the studio aims to boost local film and TV production capabilities, fostering growth and employment in Queenstown, a region cherished by filmmakers for its iconic landscapes.
Banijay Entertainment announced the second cycle of Banijay Launch, its global initiative dedicated to supporting women creators in unscripted formats, which was launched at MIPCOM last year. The program’s first cycle took home the “Behind the Scenes Impact Award” at the Diversify TV Awards for advancing inclusion in the content industry.
