Reception

Located on the 5th floor and is open from Monday – Friday, between 9:30am – 6pm. The Ground floor reception is open from 9am – 5:30pm. Outside of these hours, the reception is covered by security staff.

Building pass

A building pass will be given to you on your first day of work. The pass will grant you access to enter the building and to all Banijay floors. It should with you at all times.

Kitchen

There are kitchens throughout the building, where you will find the facilities to make hot and cold drinks. Each kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, hot water tap, water cooler, and dishwasher.

Ground floor café

Coterie Café is located on the ground floor of the Shepherds Building and serves hot and cold drinks, breakfast, and lunch. The opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm. By showing your Banijay pass, you are eligible for 10% off all purchases.

Going green

Our planet is incredibly important to us and as such, we are taking the necessary steps to reduce our carbon footprint and our overall impact on the environment. You will find food waste and recycling stations throughout the Banijay building.

Fire safety

There are trained fire wardens on each floor of the building. During an evacuation they will be identifiable by a yellow high-vis jacket. The fire exits are signposted throughout the building. The evacuation meet-up point is on Shepherd’s Bush Green. The fire alarm is tested weekly, you will be notified in advance of a test by the facilities team.

First aid

There are trained first aiders on each floor of the building. To contact a first aider, you can refer to the list in each kitchen or contact the facilities team. There are first aid kits available in each kitchen. Located on the 5th floor, there is a defibrillator for emergency use.

There are trained mental health first aiders at Banijay. To contact a mental health first aider, you can refer to the list in each kitchen.

Wellbeing

There is a wellbeing room situated on the 5th floor, next to the facilities office. This space is designed to be a calming environment and can be used if you need to take time away from your desk. The room does not need to be booked but please do knock prior to entry.

Security CameraS

The Shepherds Building uses CCTV equipment to monitor employee and public safety, and for the security of the premises. The CCTV camera locations are identifiable by signs advising staff and visitors that they are entering an area covered by surveillance equipment.

Facilities

Postal Facilities

Mail can be sent via the 5th floor post room. The final post collection is at 4pm each weekday.

Parking

It is not possible to park in the Shepherds Building car park, however there are a limited number of spaces available for visitors and large deliveries. A space can be reserved via the Facilities team. There are nearby public car parks at the W12 and Westfield shopping centres.

Showers

There are showers on -1 . To get access, please contact the facilities.

Desk Assessments

If you require support with the comfort of your workstation set- up, a display screen equipment (DSE) risk assessment can be conducted. Where necessary ergonomic equipment or will be provided.
